How generous of the author to give of their time to service the community and share their love of reading with children and families! I love the ease of reading and the lessons presented. “A college friend of mine told me that her Aunt is recapturing stories from life in the 1930s/40s around her Atlantic City childhood. They’re easy-read and short for new, young readers. I highly recommend this new author in her 80s. It’s never too late to start!”

Editor/Contributing Author
In May of 2020, Aunt Ginny shared her book project idea with me and asked if I was interested. She had ten stories about growing up in the Depression era with her five siblings. I thought it would be a wonderful tribute to my 86 year old Aunt to edit and publish her books. I quickly connected childhood memories with the effect on the health and wellness of both children and adults. I eagerly accepted the challenge. My vision for the readers was to imagine going into Aunt Ginny’s attic a hundred years from now and finding these books under the dusty shelving. You are intrigued by the antiquity of the books and you sit down to read about Sunshine’s escapades. These stories, you will find, warm your heart and touch your spirit. Enjoy! – Dr. Michele Burgess
