Feng Shui

What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui,  Chinese Geomancy or the Art of Placement,  is the movement of Chi or energy throughout the home, workplace, or living spaces. Feng Shui is over 3,000 years old and has been practiced for centuries. The science is used to literally place homes and businesses in certain locations, address the interior of buildings with the placement of furniture, doorways, and rooms and as a guide for landscaping. The Literal translation means Wind-Water.

Western Feng Shui uses a  tool called the Ba-Gua Map to identify 9 distinct areas of the home or space in the following categories: Health and Family, Wealth  and Prosperity,  Love and Marriage, Children and Creativity, Travel and Helpful People, Knowledge and Spirituality, Career, Fame and Reputation and the Center to remove blockages of CHI Flow.

Energy within your home and work environments can have a harmonizing or dis-harmonizing effect on the human psyche.  You can enhance and complement your lifestyle and nutrition objectives with the application of the Ancient Chinese Art of Feng Shui. I have worked with my clients to help them energize and achieve balance in their homes and lives by addressing the Feng Shui principles – love and marriage, wealth and prosperity, fame and reputation, children and creativity, travel, health and spirituality.  Applications can include energizing and balancing your space for building, buying or selling your home or where to locate and improve your business.

Feng Shui ties in nicely with Health & Wellness in that its main philosophy is to clear the clutter from your living space.  If we think of clearing the clutter from our bodies by eating healthy, drinking lots of water, as well as exercising to keep the body in shape, we can use Feng Shui to clear clutter out of our living spaces to enhance our lives. We can invite happiness into our lives using both methods of cleansing. By de-cluttering your spaces, you will find and feel a cleaner, clearer energy!

My Experience

I have studied Feng Shui for over 20 years.  I started noticing that as I implemented certain “fixes”,  certain areas would improve. For example, I made a few Feng Shui changes to my house and after a few weeks, the house sold after being on the market for two years. I started trying out these Feng Shui fixes with friends and was amazed to see how their lives would change in such a positive way.

My 20 years experience enables me to offer Feng Shui packages that range from an one room reading to an overall house reading, Sage cleansing, furniture placement and Feng Shui tips.  Prices vary based on the package you select and the size of your space. One bedroom apartments begin at $55.
